Why do I have to pay to join a waitlist?
Your $25 reserves your founding member pricing and goes toward your first month. It also tells us you're serious. We're building Rent Indie for brands who are ready to move and make real money.
What do I get for $25?
Two months of full access when we launch meaning unlimited rental listings, up to 500 rentals per month, and your transaction fee locked at 5% forever. Your $25 goes toward month one. Month two is on us. This payment is nonrefundable unless Rent Indie does not launch.
What if Rent Indie doesn't launch?
If Rent Indie does not launch, you'll receive a full refund automatically. No questions asked. Your payment is held securely through Stripe.
When does the plugin launch?
We're in active development now. Waitlist brands get early access before we go live on the Shopify App Store. We are aiming for Fall 2026. We'll email you with updates and your access date as soon as it's confirmed.
Do I need to be technical to use it?
Not at all. If you can add an app on Shopify, you can use Rent Indie. No code, no developers, no setup calls required. Installation comes with step-by-step instructions.
Will it work with my existing Shopify theme?
Yes. Rent Indie installs as a native Shopify app and works with any theme using standard Shopify app blocks.
Who handles shipping and returns?
You do. Rent Indie gives you the infrastructure: listings, pricing, windows, deposits, and auto re-listing. Fulfillment stays with you so you keep full control of your brand experience.
What if a customer damages a piece?
You set your own deposit amount and own your damage policy. Deposits are collected at checkout and held until the item is returned in agreed condition.
